Raya and the Last Dragon depicts a fusion of Southeast Asian cultures Raya’s headdress is modeled in ancient headgear from the Philippines, while her combat tactics are based on Malaysian and Indonesian battle traditions. The music was composed by James Newton Howard. The film star Kelly Marie Tran, Awkwafina, Izaac Wang, Gemma Chan, Daniel Dae Kim, and, Benedict Wong are in title roles. It is produced by Osnat Shurer, Peter Del Vecho under the banners of Walt Disney Pictures, Walt Disney Animation Studios.
